Tandem Berlin organizes language courses......
and has done so for the last 30 years! We aim to combine language learning with interpersonal and cultural exchange. Whatever the language – German, French, Italian or Spanish – learning it should be enjoyable.
Tandem Berlin e.V. is a member of Tandem International, an association of international language schools and education facilities.
we offer German courses at all levels. Small groups encourage fast progress. We also find you good value accommodation, organize a leisure programme for our German course participants and help those who are new to the town to find their feet here. Tandem Berlin is more than just a language school!
All the language courses at Tandem Berlin satisfy the requirements of the European Reference Framework; for learners of German we also offer official examinations!
Foreign language courses
We offer a number of foreign language courses: Spanish, English, Italian and French. The maximum number of students per course is eight – normally there are only around five. This provides an intensive teaching atmosphere. All our courses are taught by professionally trained, native speakers only.

Where to find us: Tandem Berlin is situated in the "Bötzow Quarter", in the inner city district of Prenzlauer Berg, not far from Alexanderplatz. Just around the corner from us is the beautiful Friedrichshain park. It's easy to reach us either with tram number M10 or M4 (from Alexanderplatz), or bus 200.
